Abstract

The article discusses the contents of a two-volume monograph published in 2023. The publication was the result of a scientific project titled „The Poor New Pensioners.” The aim of the project was to investigate the situation of the retired persons receiving old-age pensions below the statutory guarantee from the scheme reformed in 1999, identify the causes behind this phenomenon, and develop recommendations to reduce the scale of their poverty. The findings of this research are presented in the two discussed volumes.
