The challenges for the social insurance scheme in Poland in the fi rst half of 2022 – selected issues

Abstract

The article presents selected challenges for social insurance in Poland in 2022 and their determinants. The challenges were analysed from the perspective of the activity of the Social Insurance Institution and its tasks. Reference was made to the financial situation of the Social Insurance Fund and expenditures on on benefits, mainly old-age pensions. ts, mainly old-age pensions.
